On 22nd March 2023 we commemorated World Water Day at our school. The pupils, led by their teachers, decided to organize an environmental activity for Water Day, the aim of which was to raise awareness about the importance of water and at the same time to contribute to the protection of our water resources. Pupils analysed water samples from different water sources and streams in our region to find out their chemical composition and purity. At the end, they discussed their findings.
Water Day reminded us that water is our most precious resource and we believe that even our small efforts can lead to big positive changes.
The Water Day activities took place as part of the project Environmental research in the indoor and outdoor learning zone,which is implemented thanks to support from Norway grants and the State Budget of the Slovak Republic under the SK - Climate Programme.
